There has been significant change at our school in the last academic year, and it is a very exciting time to be a part of, and visit our community.
All our work is rooted in our key values of kindness, community and inclusivity. Students and staff on our campus hold strong, working relationships and we are all committed to ensuring the students in our care have excellent provision and are able to achieve highly. We unapologetically hold very high standards for our students, and everyone in our school community. Our culture is focused on developing excellent learning behaviours and developing a strong learning community, where striving for excellence is highly valued. We support all students, regardless of ability or need, to meet our high standards in all aspects of school life.
Our curriculum is broad and innovative, with a focus on mastering the knowledge and skills needed to secure academic disciplines, as well as embracing Applied Learning as a core element of our curriculum. This means our students are not only prepared for academic endeavour in their future lives, but are also well prepared for the world of work and whatever future awaits them in a fast changing global workplace.
We have many exciting trips and visits on offer, where our students embrace opportunities to travel and experience different cultures and lives. We truly believe that enrichment is crucial to student success in adult life, and our Personal Development curriculum is designed to complement the academic curriculum and ensure our students leave us as confident, resilient, kind, empathetic and academically successful individuals.
I truly believe that a successful education and school experience lays the foundation for an adult life that holds multiple opportunities for personal growth and success in all its forms. Our students have one chance to experience their school years, and we are committed to ensuring those years are stimulating, exciting, successful and lead to life-long memories that our students will carry with them forever.
