At Wykham Park Academy, we are thrilled to welcome our new Year 7 students in September! Transitioning to secondary school is an exciting step, and we are here to make it as smooth, enjoyable, and inspiring as possible.
National Offer Day is an exciting moment for Year 6 pupils and their families – it’s when you’ll find out which secondary school you’ve been allocated. We look forward to welcoming all our new students and celebrating this milestone with you.
To support your move to Wykham Park Academy, all transition information, forms, and guidance will be uploaded here on our website. From induction days to uniform details and guidance on getting started, everything you need will be in one place to help your child settle in confidently.

Our transition programme includes:

Visits to primary schools – our team will meet your child in their current school to help them feel confident about the move.

Meet the Mentor evening for parents – a chance to meet your child’s mentor, ask questions, and learn more about life at Wykham Park.

Two Transition Days – an opportunity for students to experience secondary school life, meet teachers and peers, and get familiar with the Academy before September.
