Safeguarding & Welfare

At Wykham Park Academy, the safety, wellbeing and dignity of every student is our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people, creating a culture where students feel safe, heard and supported. We believe that every child matters, and we work proactively to ensure they are protected, empowered and able to thrive both in and out of school.

Students’ Mentors are the first point of contact should you have a concern, and you may also contact the relevant Head of College. If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact a member of our Safeguarding Team listed below.

All concerns are treated with appropriate confidentiality. However, where there is a risk of significant harm, we have a duty to refer to external partner agencies to ensure that children receive the protection and support they need.
