DT Vision :
Our vision is to inspire confident, creative and responsible young designers who can understand and shape the world around them. Through an engaging curriculum built on practical experience, problem-solving and safe workshop practice, we empower students to explore materials, processes and emerging technologies. From KS3 through to GCSE, students develop hands-on skills in wood, metal and plastics, learn to design with purpose, and consider the environmental impact of their choices. By fostering curiosity, resilience and innovation, we aim to equip every learner with the technical knowledge and design thinking needed for further study, future careers and a sustainable future.
